Cherbourg Race 3rd – 5th April
JOG Cherbourg Race – Easter Offshore Adventure
The Cherbourg Race marks the first offshore race of the JOG Offshore calendar — the perfect way to kick-start the season and
begin your championship campaign.
This relatively short but exciting 75-mile course takes you straight out of the Solent to the East, then across the English Channel to Cherbourg.
The outbound race starts on Good Friday, setting the fleet on a fast passage to Port Chantereyne, where crews can enjoy a well-earned dinner and a few bière pression after their Channel crossing.
After a relaxed evening in port, the return race begins on Sunday morning, bringing the fleet back to the JOG finish line in Cowes – perfectly timed for a tea-time arrival. That leaves Easter Monday free to unwind and enjoy your Easter eggs ashore!
