Stag and Hen Events
Follow the Royalty to the Isle of Wight for your Stag or Hen weekend getaway.
Cowes is the world renowned sailing Mecca, and has been the centre of yachting for hundreds of years. Days full of excitement and adrenaline and nights of talking it all up.
The Isle of Wight is only a short distance from the Mainland and yet offshore rules apply whenever you are sailing or moored up on the Island. So pretty much anything goes and remains on the Island as another of its kept secrets.
Typical Weekend Itinerary
A typical weekend would start Friday night at Portsmouth – Gunwharf Quays, where you will join the boat before sampling the hospitality of this naval port, including nightclubs and restaurants.
On Saturday morning we would set sail on one of our exciting performance yachts, we aim to get you all involved in the sailing and soon land lubbers under expert tuition soon become skilled in the ways of the sea. You do not have to have any previous sailing experience to really enjoy the thrill of sailing fast in the busy Solent.
We will sail to Cowes to spend the night moored in the Marina at the hub of the town just a short walk from the Anchor Pub where Princes Harry and William frequented on Peter Phillip’s stag do. We can arrange for quite meals in a local yacht club or lively bustling pub, which ever takes your fancy.
Cowes has a busy and thriving traditional nightlife, and are used to seeing groups of strangers dressed up having a great time.
Sunday, once awake we will return to the water for more sailing. During the weekend everyone will get a chance to helm, as well as foredeck work hoisting the sails and trimming them, before we reluctantly head back to Portsmouth for your return to normality.
Typical One Day Itinerary
Pick up from any of the Solent based ports and head off for a hard days sailing. The day will allow for everyone who wants to get involved to get involved. From helming, to trimming, to hoisting the sails. No previous experience is required but you do need enthusiasm. We can tailor the day to a leisurely sail or a get the muscles burning with a day like offshore sailors have, pushing themselves to the limit. After a full day we can return to port for a well earned pint or 2 or 3.
The Yachts
The Yacht that we use are performance race yachts as they are well suited to busy crew really working as a team. We can of course use a vast array of yachts to suit each individual party needs.
