"Serious fun ", that's the catchphrase of the Heineken Regatta and without doubt it lives up to it’s reputation. The Heineken Regatta is based on beautiful Caribbean island of St Maarten – half Dutch half French. The regatta is just getting bigger and better every year. Venomous is welcoming individual sailors for one of the biggest regattas of the Caribbean in 2008. The Heineken Regatta has it all, this has got to be the MUST DO for this Caribbean season, amazing waters, amazing racing, and AMAZING parties, A well planned regatta with a fantastic balance of competitive racing combined with an extremely lively social scene.
The Yacht
Venomous is a stunning 60’ race yacht with a comfortable interior. She has recently raced in the ARC race across the Atlantic where she won her class (Yachts over 60’ long) She carries a very large sail area but has been designed for simplicity of use. We will have a skipper and experienced crew on board so even those with limited racing experience will soon become part of a competitive team. Venomous has air conditioning, large fridge and shower, as well a huge sail wardrobe.
