Royal Ocean Racing Club – August Race - Dieppe
Saturday 23rd – 24th August Bank Holiday
An early morning start to this race sees the fleet head east out of the Solent, a dog leg in the middle of the English Channel before heading into the finish line at Dieppe. Weather permitting we should be finished in time for last orders in Dieppe before heading back to the UK on Sunday, leaving you Monday free to build up some more brownie points with your families.
This race forms part of the Southern trials for the Rolex Commodores cup team so you will find your self racing with the best of them.
Because of the early start you will need to be in Cowes at sometime to suit you Friday evening. Most of the racing will be done during daylight hours, so is an ideal race for those who really want to get a feel of what the boat can achieve before darkness falls.
