Round the Island Race 2009

Despite the light winds both Incisor and Venomous enjoyed fantastic days sailing Round the Island Race last Saturday. We had a training day on Friday which was by comparison a trifle windier, but we try and give our crew as much variation in the sailing as we can, So the appropriate weather was ordered!
The crew certainly learnt how to change sails after 10 changes across Sandown Bay alone. Gybing became second nature after over 20 coming up to St Catherine’s.
We look forward now to next weekends Stag Do’s where we hope the Solent will be a little quieter but just as exciting
